How is my investment structured?

Brickowner Investments Limited is a small registered Alternative Investment Fund Manager (reference number: 775256). Investors acquire shares of the company and the funds are used to invest into the underlying investment. Those shares are held in a nominee, WCS (Property) Nominees Limited, which is an associated company of Woodside Corporate Services Limited (FRN 467652), which is directly authorised by the FCA to act in this capacity.

The nominee holds the legal ownership of the shares on your behalf. As an investor, you benefit from any investment return as the beneficial owner.

Each investment is registered in the name of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV).

An SPV is a limited company used to ring-fence any liabilities associated with that property. It is created to segregate assets such as individual property investments. This creates a ‘ring fence’ around the investment, ensuring protection from Brickowner’s other investments in the event of a default situation. Whether the investment returns are paid via income, single capital payment or both, investment returns will be transferred back to your Brickowner wallet.

Investments differ in the type of security they offer to investors through shares, charges, restrictions, debentures, or a combination of some or all of these. It is important to read all of the investment documentation to ensure you understand the nature of the investment.

Each investment will have its own unique SPV name and share class.
