What is property crowdfunding?

Property Crowdfunding is a form of investment and a method for raising funds for property projects. Property crowdfunding typically uses a technology platform to pool together a group of investors to invest in property investment projects. Returns in the form of capital and income, are proportionately shared between the individual investors.

Historically, professionally managed property investment opportunities require significant sums in order to be able to invest. Property crowdfunding means investors can access these professionally managed investment projects with smaller contributions.

For property asset managers and developers it’s a streamlined and fast method of raising funds for projects without the intrusion and time cost from clunky legal and administrative paperwork.
